Building Chesticles

This workout is safest when done with a spotter. The prescription implies some time pressure, but it may be better to focus on completing safely than worry about rushing through this one.

7 Rds: 21-18-15-12-9-6-3 reps (84 total), for time of:
- Body weight Bench press
- Pull-ups

Results:
Justin - 25:00, As Rx'd, BWBP 155#
Seth - 25:37, 30 reps of BP at BW of 195#, remainder at 175#
Shiloh - 29:17, 10 reps of BP at 175#, 29 at #165, remainder at 155#

I'm sure Justin could have posted a much better time if he hadn't had to continually rescue me from being crushed under failed reps on the bench press.

Pull-ups were definitely the easy part after last week's challenge.

nice work, dudes. i was feeling a little under the weather today so i did another fran because i knew it would be quicker. i beat my old PR by like 12 seconds and then promptly threw up. fun times? not so much.

that being said, i agree that the pullups were way easier after last week...except the first 5 warmup pullups that felt like every strand of muscle was being pulled away from the bone.

I'll simply say:

"Pizza Buffet = 29:17"

As rx, I should have done 180lb BP

Had to be careful on the bench press since I didn't have Justin here to rescue any failed attempts. This slowed me down a little and made be us less weight than I expected.

10 @ 175, 29 @ 165, and the rest at 155.
