Special Assignment…

I'm issuing a challenge for this week.

Do 1,000 pull-ups between now and 10:00PM Friday.

Yes. One thousand.


 

Typical rules for form apply. Full hang to head over bar. Pre-workout warm-up reps and reps done during workout count. Keep a close eye on your calluses and make sure that you don't rip them.

Let the math teacher help... 1,000 pull-ups over 5 days is 200 pull-ups per day.

Barely got in my 200 yesterday. Up to 150 today. Didn't get as many in as I'd hoped this morning, due to problems dragging myself out of bed and rushing to get to work an hour late. Shooting for 250 today if I can find somewhere hidden around work to do pull-ups. Otherwise, shooting for 200.

Failed to find a decent place to do pull-ups at work or at home yesterday, so I'm already behind.
Monday total: 170
Tuesday, so far: 135.
Hope to at least get 95 more today to get back on track.

having the advantage of working from home and doing pullups throughout the day, i'm halfway through. 500 down, 500 to go. jeez.

Managed to swing by the gym on the way home yesterday. Did an even 100 in my khakis and polo.

50 this morning + 150 from the workout = 200. 800 + 200 = 1,000.

Total 455 and that might be all I get by the end of tomorrow. We'll have to see how tomorrow evening goes.

Did the final 195 at the gym after work today. Tough doing them all in one stretch.

Due to unforseen time constraints, I DID NOT COMPLETE this assignment. Tried to get in as many pull-ups as I could Friday before 8:00 after I got home, but had things I had to do, and missed the mark by 100 pull-ups.

DAMN GOOD JOB Jason and Seth. The next assignment will require no equipment, which should make it easier for us to find time throughout the day to get reps in. Naturally, this means that it will require more reps. Heheheh.
