That was tough, man. My legs are feeling it this week.
No joke. That was a great workout. I'm so glad we didn't use my bodyweight on those lifts.
Not that it was a very heavy deadlift weigh today, but I'm still pleased that my back didn't complain about it.
That staggered start worked well. First half I felt like I was trying to catch you, the second half, I was trying not to get caught and slow you down.
of course, i don't have the right equipment (bench, tall box) for this one...so i did the seal workout again...which was yet another hand/forearm punisher for me.
3 rounds w/ 30-50# KB or DB; each round consists of:
5 turkish getups - left arm
10 one arm snatch - left arm
10 one arm swings - left arm
repeat for right arm.
i used a 35# DB and because i cannot count...i did 4 rounds. 27:56.
Didnt' Finish:
Started too late and had no energy, but won't be able to work out Friday or Saturday so worked out anyway. Felt like a cripple with my jammed finger and lightly sprained ankle. (and a weak grip from the hang cleans)
Used 185 lbs for BP and DL (probably a little too heavy) Had to use the same bar which was a pain to move back and forth from the bench press to the floor.
Used top step going out of garage for box jump (only 18" high; jumped from 36" out)
Only felt like I had 25 minutes to devote to workin out tonight and I'm sad to say I only did 10, 9,...,5 and then quit (25:27)
Good effort, Shiloh, and way to push through pain and tiredness. You got the lions share of the work done by pressing through to the 5 rep round, and considering your having to fight the equipment to make it happen, you probably ended up doing the same amount of total work as you would have.
Jason, sorry about the equipment mismatch on this one. Seth and I had to decide on one in a hurry, and we didn't think about it enough. Man, you're tough taking on another overhead workout yesterday. My traps are still nearly useless.
