Lowered expectations

I'm definitely feeling the effects of the workouts we've already done this week, so I'm not expecting a top performance. Still, this is a hero workout, so maximum effort will be given.

"Badger" - 3 Rds for time:
95 pound Squat clean, 30 reps
30 Pull-ups
Run 800 meters

Results
Seth - 37:41
Justin - DNF, 2 rounds in ~37 min
James - 48:03, sub 65# squat cleans 1.5 rds, jumping air squats 1.5 rds, ellipical for runs.
Jason - 52:48

My lower back was finished after 1.5 rounds of 65lb squat cleans. So I did jumping air squats for the last 1.5 rounds. I also used an eliptical machine as opposed to a treadmill due to a bum knee.

What a workout. Those squat cleans are no joke. I was feeling beaten down by the end of the first round, and was just barely stubborn enough to finish this one.

52:48. that was brutal. my legs/back were totally not ready for it and i REALLY wanted to quit. i did get my first 2 muscle-ups beforehand, though...so outside of the painful workout, it was a good day.
