How strong? (CrossFit Total)

Today is another big benchmark, the CrossFit Total. Best 1 out of 3 attempts for a single-rep max at:

  • Back Squat
  • Press
  • Deadlift

I haven't totaled in a long time. I'm looking forward to seeing our results.

This is a vast improvement over our last CFT scores and represents a PR in every lift. Awesome.

Got a little overly aggressive with the squat, and very nearly had the 185 press. Couple that with the 335 DL I did as an unofficial 4th attempt would have put me over 800. That's half-way respectable, and I feel confident that I'll get over 800 next time we do this.

This was a huge leap from my 655 score from just a few months ago, and I didn't hurt myself doing it.

Personal bests, so, even though Justin bested me today, I'm pretty pumped about the results.

Well, according to the "official" class rankings for CFT, these scores place us well into the Intermediate class, which is pretty damn good for a couple of desk jockies. Good work today.
