Since all of us (I think) who did yesterday's workout have basically inoperable legs today, we're going to do an upper-body dominant workout today. It is:
- 75 Push-Ups
- 50 Thrusters @ 45lbs
- 50 Ring Dips
- 30 Weighted Pull-Ups @ 45lbs
- 25 Handstand Push-ups
Scale according to abilifications.
Results:
Justin - 29:10
Seth - 28:27
James - ~34 min, subs: see comments
Shiloh - ~25 min, see comments
Brian - ~23 min, subs: bar dips, unweighted pull-ups, DB shoulder press
Jennifer - ~18 min, knee push-ups, 12# thruster, triceps dips, jumping pull-ups, decline push-ups
Jason - 26:48, sub 25# weighted bar dips, unweighted chin-ups

That was tough. Was limited much more by muscle fatigue than met-con. The HSPU at the end took at least 8/9 minutes.
Approximately 34 minutes (I forgot to check my time at the end)
Thrusters: 20 lb dumbbells for the first 30 reps, then switched to a 45 lb bar for the last 20 reps.
Dips: 50 bar dips as opposed to the suggested 150 (3 x ring dips) because I would’ve been there all day.
Weighted Pullups: 25 lb dumbbell for the first 15 weighted pull-ups, then finished with a 20 lb dumbbell.
HSPUs: By the end of the workout my arms were noodles, so the HSPUs weren’t even an option. I would’ve cracked my skull just trying to get upside down. So I did 45 lb shoulder presses instead.
26:48 - sub'd 25# weighted dips for ring dips because 150 just seemed like way too many.
oh, and i did reverse-grip chin-ups for the weighted P-U portion...
I had a great work-out, but don't have a time. I finished the PU, Thrusters, and 15 ring dips and went to take sip of water and noticed I had finished all that in 0.12 sec. DAMN
I started the time and finished the rest in 14:09 (then did 60 ring PU for fun)
So, PU, Thrusters,and 15 dips + 14:09
I was having a great night and would guess my total time is under 25 min
i had no idea you were tracking my time on most of these...omg. i am just happy to actually COMPLETE a workout with you guys!
That was definitely a good one yesterday.
