It's definitely a love/hate relationship with thrusters. I can't help but admire their brutal effectiveness. This workout will definitely test the bounds of my affection.
"Gates of Fire" - For Time:
50 GHD Sit Ups
50 Pushups
100 Thrusters 65lbs
50 Pushups
50 GHD Sit Ups
RESULTS:

Jason - 30:17, atomic sit-ups

James - 19:19, anchored sit-ups, 75 thrusters @ 30#

I finished in 19:19. I scaled down by doing anchored sit ups and only doing 75 thrusters with a 35lb bar. Ouch!
30:17. sub'd atomic situps for GHDs. i should've pushed harder through the thrusters...it's just been a looong week for my poor legs. good times, though!
22:38 I guess your heavy deads and swings yesterday worked to my advantage today.
push ups were hard on the abs after the GHD's.
