No WFIBDCSs today

James chose to go fishing instead of working out last time this one came up. Post your excuses for skipping this time around to comments.

3 rounds for time:
  • 21 Burpees
  • 10 Dumbbell power snatches per arm @50lbs
  • 9 Ring Dips
  • Run 400M

  • Jason - 20:04, as Rx'd
  • James - 25:46, sub 25 sit-ups for Ring Dips
  • Seth - 18:57, as Rx'd
  • Jennifer - 23:44, sub knee-burpees, 18# PS,2xReps bench dips, .22,.20,.25 mile runs

thought for sure i'd be under 20 going into the last round...got close, but didn't push hard enough at the end to get it done. 20:04 as rx'd.

Just when I thought I was out...they pull me back in!

No fishing today, only lung and leg pain. I spent the last two weeks resting a strained shoulder and the month prior to that on a heavy weight/bulk up routine. So the whole metcon aspect of things wasn't fresh to my system. And it showed with my lovely 25:46. Ugh.

Also, I was in the garage without pullup/dip capabilities, so I subbed 25 situps for the ring dips. There's no logic behind that substitution...I just want a sexy belly. Oh, and my runs were up a 200m hill and back. And they were nasty!

Welcome back James! I feel your pain, coming back to met-con from a bulk-up/time-off period is rough.

I nearly let Pukie catch me today and still was almost a minute and a half slower than last time. Nice showing Jason.
