Borrowed Brutality

This is not the first time we've borrowed this workout from CFFB. Bet it hasn't gotten any easier since then.

First do:

Back squat, 3 sets of 5 reps. (heavy)

Then do:

7 rounds for time of:

  • 3 Handstand Push-ups
  • 5 Power Cleans @ 185lbs
  • 7 Chest-To-Bar Pull-ups

Results:
Seth - BS: 305,305,305 - 18:20, as Rx'd
Jason - BS: 175,205,205x3 - 18:15, sub 135# PCs

I had grand goals of starting with 305 and going up for the other sets. Was NOT necessary in the slightest.

I lost my grip mid rep on a power clean, leading to a spectacular ruckus as the 185# (rubberized plates thankfully) load crashed down from about 4 ft in the air, bouncing into the squat cage.

my legs really really really wanted me to skip today. my results reflect that in a rather disgusting fashion. however, i am very pleased to have completed my first week back.

BS - 175, 205, 205x3, 18:15 sub'd 135# pcs
