Are you ready for some…

CFFB? Because today's workout is jacked straight from their WOD.


First do:

Back squat, 3 sets of 5 reps. (heavy)


Then do:

7 rounds for time of:

  • 3 Handstand Push-ups
  • 5 Power Cleans @ 185lbs
  • 7 Chest-To-Bar Pull-ups

Results:
  • Abby - BS: 55,55,55 then DNF
  • Melanie - BS: 95,105,115 then DNF
  • James - BS: 155,185,195 then 14:11 sub 135# PCs
  • Seth - BS: 285,295,305 then 14:55 as Rx'd

That was a nice return workout. I didn't feel any soreness in the shoulders, which was really nice.

Those PCs were pretty rough after the heavy squats. Just watching Seth clean the extra 50# was tiring.

The 305 was a new PR for 5 rep back squats by 20 lbs; pretty pleased about that.
A very good workout today. Felt good to have completed it as Rx'd. Those power cleans definitely got rough in the later rounds. Having to do the pull-ups chest-to-bar definitely added to the difficulty. Hadn't figured those 7 reps would be an issue, but I was wrong.
