today was another one of those "i can't breathe" days. i wonder why that happens sometimes...if it's just a mental block or if on some days my lungs just don't want to cooperate...
I did a workout that was catered to 10Fitenss' dense crowd. And since I’ve recently returned to doing MetCon workouts, today was pretty ugly.
7 rounds:
5 Pull-ups, strict
15 Push-ups
10 Deadlift, 135#
Then run ½ mile.
~25:00
My “run” was more like a run/walk. I had some pretty nasty side cramps.
I'm going to have to blame the workout today Jason, 'cause I had the same issue.
23:38, 115# complexes, HSPU w/ hands on 4" aerobic 'steps'
I struggled w/ that extra 4" of ROM on the HSPU. Those were tough.
Confusion got me on the complexes. Did the HPC and rows in wrong order 1 round, then after setting the bar down after PC 3rd round, did a PC to prep for front squats and started doing HPC again. 3 extra HPC before I realized it.
Looks like 'fun', James!
And the complexes were broken sets. Set the bar down a couple of times in the later rounds.
