Back Off…

Since Seth is out for a week, I'm taking the opportunity to back off the intensity for a bit and see if I can't put on some bodyweight. In keeping with this, today's workout was:


10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 rep rounds for time of:

  • 185lb Back Squat
  • 155lb Bench Press
  • +35lb weighted chin-ups


Justin: 24:25 (Leisurely pace.)
Shiloh: 23:44

I don't think you were as "lazy" as I imagined when I read you comment. I guess I held a "lazy" pace, but I felt like I was moving along quick enough.

Oh I'm sorry, I was mis-quoting you. "Leisurely pace"

I felt like I got a better work out than "Leisurely pace" makes it sound.

I did follow it with my favorite ring activities:

50 ring push-ups and
25 ring dips

Hah... well, I guess "leisurely" is relative. After over a year straight of nothing but CrossFit, anything less than all you can muster seems like halfassing.
