My lower back was toast after the DB swings and back extensions. Definitely slowed me down for the remainder of the workout.
Rest periods were simply to long and frequent today. I'm looking forward to a week of vacation.
BIG FAT DNF!!!
I had hit the tunnel vision, can't stand up straight mode by the time I started on the snatches, and when the gym stewardess came up and told us we were "gonna have to wear shoes" I totally lost focus. Doing power snatches dizzy is hard enough. Doing them dizzy while standing on squishy-assed running shoes wasn't happening.
I don't know where all the energy came from tonight, but I enjoyed it.
