Coming Full Circle

The Infidel crew has had a pretty good run at Bowman Fitness, but they're closing up shop after today. I'm still amazed we never got kicked out. It seems only fitting that we should revisit the first workout we did there.

"Noodle Arms" - 3 Rounds for time of:

  • Run 400m
  • 15 push-ups
  • 15 pull-ups
  • 15 push-ups
  • 15 squats
  • 15 push-ups
  • 15 sit-ups
  • 15 push-ups

Results:
  • James - 18:53 (PR), as Rx'd
  • Laura - 19:52 (PR), jumping pull-ups
  • Seth - 20:19, as Rx'd
  • Todd - 23:20, 2 Rds as Rx'd + 400M Run

I need a few F-16 fly-overs to compliment the Top Gun Anthem playing on loop in my head.

James got after this one from the start and refused to let up. Excellent job!

Oh yeah! Now please pardon me while I tend to my tremendous outbreak of goosebumps...

In all honesty, we would've been neck and neck if the treadmill governor hadn't been set at 10. My advantage of stubby arms was realized while your advantage of longer legs was stifled. We may just have to find a place in the future with non-puney treadmills and have a rematch!

...with 80's theme music, obviously.

Even running at 12 mph would have only taken 45 secs off my time, which might have allowed me to PR, but as you bested me by twice that...

We'll have to do some sort of monthly challenge, assuming we can find an appropriate hosting location. You can bring the 80's music; I'll bring the Whoop Ass.

I feel obligated to say something just to offset all the fruitcake on this blog wall. How did you put it earlier James?... Mike Myers on SNL skit?
