Double the fun?

This workout from the CFFB archives combines two 'fun' exercises in a new and brutal way.

"Kalsu" - Complete 100 Thrusters For Time:
Each minute on the minute
  • 5 Burpees
  • Max Reps Thrusters - 135 lbs

Results:
  • Seth - 13:48, 50 Reps @ 115#
  • James - 14:45, 40 Reps @ 95#
  • Laura - 16:41, 50 Reps @ 65#

Ouch! That was beyond brutal. Just the 5 burpees every minute were killing me after a few rounds. Finding the will power & energy for the thursters was quite difficult.
First 2 rounds: 19 thrusters
Next 31 thrusters took 12 more rounds. Quite a dropoff.

Yeah, that was another one of those "on a different level" workouts.
First 2 rounds: 17 thrusters
Next 23 thrusters took 14 more rounds...mainly because, at the end, I was only doing thrusters on every other minute.
