Today's workout will be performed in 8 Tabata intervals of 5 separate exercises. Tabata intervals are 20 seconds work, followed by 10 seconds rest. Scoring for each exercise will be the lowest number of reps in any one interval of the set.
8 Tabata intervals of each:
- Clapping Push-ups (Explosively push the body off the ground and touch hands together at the top of the repetition)
- Atomic Sit-ups (Legs at full extension and shoulders against the ground at the beginning, end with knees pulled up to meet the chest. This is not a knee-raise crunch, but a complete sit-up with feet off the ground and lower leg parallel to the floor.)
- Bottom-to-bottom Squats (Air squats, 10 seconds "rest" is held at the bottom of a squat)
- Tuck-Jump Burpees (Burpee to Tuck Jump)
- 75lb push press.
1 minute rest between rounds.

yeah. that hurt. for the b2b squats, i was only "resting" 10 between sets...so my squat number is greatly skewed. my legs are still angry though. as usual, nice work guys!
I just realized that I screwed up the post. 10 seconds rest was correct. You pwnt us at squats. I bow before you.
Note: Use 2x35# DBs for the push press.
Getting up from the b2b 'rest' was amazingly difficult. Great job today Jason!
Strategy for next time. Don't go to failure on the first set of an exercise. This was especially true on the pushups today. Stopped at 15 the first round, which I knew was a pace I couldn't continue. Killed my score in later round.
Great workout today.
