We Heart HSPU...

Today's WOD is straight off the CrossFit main site. I know we do a whole lot of hanstand push-ups, but this one looks like a lot of "fun."

For time:
  • 15 Handstand push-ups
  • 1 L Pull-up
  • 13 Handstand push-ups
  • 3 L Pull-ups
  • 11 Handstand push-ups
  • 5 L Pull-ups
  • 9 Handstand push-ups
  • 7 L Pull-ups
  • 7 Handstand push-ups
  • 9 L Pull-ups
  • 5 Handstand push-ups
  • 11 L Pull-ups
  • 3 Handstand push-ups
  • 13 L Pull-ups
  • 1 Handstand push-up
  • 15 L Pull-ups
Do yourself a favor and don't add up how many total reps that is until AFTER you've done the workout. Post time to comments.

(Note: If you can't do HSPU, do decline push-ups, with your feet raised above your shoulders as high as possible. If you can't do L pull-ups, do 1 pull-up and one hanging leg raise for each rep of L pull-up.)

RESULTS
Justin - 13:35
Shiloh - 16:43
Jason - 19:00appx (Subbed high decline, parallette PU for HSPU on rounds 2-5)

did this one in 19 and change. mixed HSPUs with declines (feet on dip bar + barbells for deeper rom) on the 13 - 7 sets. all the rest and the LPUs were regular.

SATURDAY: stolen from the seal website...

Pyramid to 15 of:
Pull up & 65# OH press (2x30# DBs)

1PU, 1OHP, 2PU, 2OHP to 15 reps each and back down.

O.U.C.H. 47:56. that was just plain stupid. yeah, that's 225 reps each.

I think the first 3/4 of it took about 8:00's. The L-pull ups got really hard at the end.
