Gawd, I need a nap. That left me completely worn out.
That last run was BRUTAL. Legs don't work as well after 300 squats and when you're already exhausted.
Excellent reminder of why it's been six months since we did Murph last.
I think this illustrates what a number of people have pointed out on the BrandX boards that most CrossFitters have a significant drop-off in work capacity somewhere around in the neighborhood of 30 minutes.
I wouldn't necessarily call this an inherent weakness, though. I'd challenge just about anyone to not show a drop-off after a mile run and 400 or 500 reps of bodyweight exercises.
The original posts were regarding the Painstorm workouts which usually stretch well over an hour.
The (theoretical) one-hour lunch break workout model doesn't lend itself to these long-duration workouts very well, but it would be nice to spend a little more time training in this time domain.
