James emailed me this morning and asked "how about some burpulls?"
As many rounds as possible in 20 minutes of:
- 10 reps heavy DB power clean (5 per arm, ~75+lbs)
- 10 reps bench press @ 135lbs
- 10 reps Burpull to KTE (perform a burpee, jump to pull-up bar, perform pull-up, without letting go of the bar, perform knees-to-elbows=1 rep)
James: 4 rounds even (70lb DB, dropped to 50 for last round due to shoulder issues.)
Justin: 4 Rounds +5 power cleans. (80lbs)

Yikes. Burpulls was actually a horrible typo. I meant to say "how about some margaritas at Senior Tequilas? I won't tell Seth if you won't," but I guess my inner meat-head took over again. Damn that guy. He's such an asshole to the rest of me.
My shoulders hurt.
So no "300 push-ups for time" workout tomorrow?
Note: We switched the order of the KTE and pull-up portion of the complex. Overcoming the momentum of the eccentric part of the pull-up enough to do a proper KTE was a pain in the ass.
300 pushups? Pshaw!
My shoulders are glad I missed that one.
