Ohgawd, What??

Not sure how this one's going to work out, cause I just made it up.

3 Rounds for time

  • 20 DB deadlift – 10 DB front squat – 5 DB lunges per side. (These are performed without letting go of the DB's)
  • 30 20 Strict Pull-ups
  • 30 20 Burpees

Dumbbells heavy moderate. Shoot for 85% 40-60% bodyweight total.


RESULTS:

Seth - 2 rounds, 15:36 55lb DB's (had to leave due to child care closing)
Laura - 26:10, 25lb DB's
James - 28:03, 50lb DB's
Justin - 32:38, 50lb DB's

Fortunately, I was forced to reevaluate the reps/weight situation when faced with actually DOING the workout. We scaled back the weight and reps to make this one completable in under 2 hours.

The jury was out on Justin's sanity until I saw his long face during the last round of burpees. One smile though, just one giggle during those burpees and I would've KNOWN you were crazy!

Anyways, that was tough as shit. Bravo, Pickmaster. You picked a winner today.

Do you know what I thought about the workout? You probably can't tell from my Poker Face. But... I think maybe my being sprawled out on the gym floor and panting might have given you a clue.
